It’s nice and authentic Sri Lankan dishes, as a tourist we used to try all the local cuisine and its best place to relax and enjoy the food. Prawns were nice but everything else felt basic. The mullet we ordered was salty, and accompanying sides of “rice & salad” while generous, lacked flavour. Staff were friendly and kind which was very nice, but it did feel like a restaurant targeted to Russians (like many in the area) who aren’t looking for authentic flavours. Certainly overpriced. Vintage was a great find. The staff honestly were so hospitable. It amazing to walk into a restaurant with people smiling. It just brightens up your day. Coming to the food- I had a veggie Srilankan meal with dal and my husband had the Srilankan prawn meal with dal. Both were outstanding. The whole spices were excellent and fresh. The vibe of the place is something you don’t get often. I walked out feeling so happy and satiated. 100% would go again. For sure its well worth the visit. Very good cuisine! Fish was amazing, service was so fast and everybody smiling. Me and my wife had 2 very very good dinners there. When we are again in Bentota we will visit it again. Thank you guys for your great attitude!
