Good food, massive portions! Seriously I think they need to rethink their portion size because everyone around us were getting boxes to take away their leftovers and my husband and I shared 2 starters and 1 main course (garlic bread, prawns and tagliata) and we were so so full. Price is decent for the portion size. However, we almost gave 3 stars because the service was very very slow. We were there over 3 hours and we arrived at 6pm when the place wasn’t as busy yet! But the view was great. Make sure you ask to sit where you can see the view! The sun doesn’t set in that direction but the transition between day and night was beautiful anyway. It's a very nice place. The terrace has a very beautiful view - you can see the sea from there. We were lucky to come at happy hours and get second drink for free. Apart from delicious drinks we took: Soup of the day Burger with chicken Roasted chicken Cappuccino The prices are good in comparison to quality. Everything was tasty and good looking (apart from potatoes - a bit cold and bad looking). Cons: the waiter was not very brilliant- 3 times going to kitchen asking for the soup (what soup, the ingredients etc.). Apart from that at the table we sat with there was a bit cold. I believe there should be more heaters. Toilet - acceptable. Overall - good 👍

We went there in midweek and the place was still busy. The mixed platter (cold cuts and cheese) was decent, both in terms of portion and quality. In terms of the service, the team looked understaffed. The floor plan is quite spread out, hence you need to get lucky to get the waiters’ attention. I recommend this place if visiting Mdina and fancying a wine bar.

I give 1 star to the nice sunset view and 1 star for the very nice staff. The food, however, deserves no stars. If you think a Mediterranean country surrounded by sea would not be able to do disservice to seafood pasta, then you’ll be surprised here. The Pecatore pasta showed up more like an afterthought. Or rather, it was penne swimming in oil. I needed an espresso after dinner to press down the greasy taste. In short, if you’re able to enjoy an aperitivo or a cake around sun down, just do that.

Amazing restaurant with a really nice view. Pretty cheap as well considering the location and the quality of the food. A starter, a big plate of mussels and a craft beer were only 35 euros. I ate very well and I felt full. They have a good assortment of wines as well. The waiter told us that is possible to have a glass of wine only from bottles that costs 25 or less euros, otherwise you need to buy the entire bottle.

This is my place to go for a calm and quite night out, for a delicious platter, and some wine. Have visited recently with a group of friends and we shared a couple of platters (one of them is the vinum platter in the photo) and some bottles of wine. The platters are incredibly good, quite large, and average price. I suggest to try their cakes - they are really good! The location is also excellent from which you can view a large area of Malta.

It is worth coming for the view but I wouldn’t recommend coming during peak hours/for dinner as the floor plan is quite spread out. We sat right by the railings with the best view but this meant that we were out of view of the wait staff, which meant our there was a 40 minute wait between our starters and our mains, and my main came 15 mins before my partners. Cute gecko sighting tho!

Love this place so romantic and both the food and the service is amazibg. A great selection of wine and platters are available. Other options of alcoholic drinks such as cocktails are available. A food menu is available including salads, pizzas and burgers apart from the mentioned platters. The view over half of Malta is to die for! Totally recommend for groups and especially couples!

Live update from table next to the bar (where else 😎) : rabbit is delicious!! And so is the wine 🐇🍷😍 But guys, that's portion for two, not one. This rabbit is eating me, not other way around 😁 P.S. everyone there is extremely friendly and kind 👍

The millionth time visit to this winebar and I have nothing but praise! Delicious platters and a lovely selection of wines. When a wine bottle is out of stock, the waiter recommends something similar. In all instances, the recommendations have been perfect.
