Delicious food . We had the Bavarian Appetizer, Swordfish and Pork Chop. The Unique location provided a beautiful atmosphere. Thank You to Riley for the great service. Great food with a great view. Unassuming location in an industrial area next to Battle Creek’s airport. We witnessed a small plan pull into the restaurant to grab a bite. Cocktails were classy. Waco Kitchen is a hidden gem in Battle Creek that you need to check out if you’re just passing through. The planes fly by in a quiet airport styled restaurant with a savory and fresh menu. I came here with my goblin friend and we had such a nice time. I ordered the Chicken Picatta and it slapped. They have a catered and welcoming menu. Try anything, I bet it would please you. Such a great find, with views overlooking the runway and into their hangars. Everything about the restaurant was thoughtfully designed/selected, from the interior design to the menu and to the dishware. The food was amazing as well (even their free bread to start is really good), and the service was great. Will definitely come back next time I'm around, and highly recommend if you're ever in the area! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This was my second visit to WACO Kitchen, and it won't be my last. I'd recommend a reservation, especially for balcony seating. The entry area is covered and there is plenty of handicap parking. There is an elevator to the second floor. Our party included a small wheelchair and there was plenty of room to maneuver between tables. The service was excellent. Six of us had five different meals and everyone loved the fresh food and variety of offerings. My only complaints were that they didn't have enough of the delicious pre-meal rolls for our entire table, and one of their few desserts, chocolate cake, was also "not ready". We were dining mid-afternoon, so these were unexpected shortages. The balcony seating allows you a view of the small planes taking off and landing. My first visit was a sunny summer day, and the balcony was completely opened along the runway side mid-meal. It was a pleasant surprise to dine with the planes flying and the fresh air. There is a bar available. I highly recommend WACO Kitchen. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Enjoyed a Saturday lunch here. Not much to see as the runway was quiet but the food was excellent. Took away a star for not making sure our glasses were full but other than that the service was good. Hopefully we will be able to try the cocktails next visit as none were offered this time. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

I've been to the Lakeland, FL location twice. Battle Creek is just as good. Everything tasted fresh was prepared nicely along with nice view out towards the main runway. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Awesome experience! Delicious food, friendly staff and well designed environment. I had a salmon sandwich and it was yummy. Service was quick and exceptional. By the way there’s also a mini plane museum onsite which shares an amazing experience on its own way. I’d definitely come here again! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

This place is not far from the highway, and was a really cool place to have lunch with the biplanes and Cessna airplanes around. WACO Kitchen has a small but stylish dining area set against the bar and kitchen. They have an extensive wine list, as well as 4 or 5 beers on tap, and mixed drinks. I selected the specials on offer which were a hot, Asian mushroom soup, and a "three pigs" sandwich that featured pulled pork, bacon and candied ham.
