It was very disappointing. Wanda's closes at 2:00. We got here at 1:45 and by the time we walked from our car to the door, they were "no longer seating people." We drove over from Albany.
I think they should change their closing time to 1:45. We drove for a long time to get here, and we thought we would arrive well before they "closed." Usually, Google gives a heads up if you are likely to arrive too late, but not this time.
I'm giving them 1 star in hopes that they see this and fix it. Wanda's looks like a great place.
A wonderful, warm, cozy experience. My party of 5 was seated quickly. All of the staff were pleasant, ensuring we were well taken care of. The food was AMAZING and priced reasonably! The biscuits and gravy here are delicious. Fun gift shop with lots of neat stuff.

This place is so cute outside and inside. There's even an enclosed back patio. At first we came here just for the baked goods and coffee but there's a whole breakfast and lunch menu. There's a cute gift section in front, too, where you can even buy a sourdough starter. I would come here again. The service was excellent and the breakfast was delicious.

Had a great brunch here, club sandwich, 2x2x2 and the potatoes with country gravy. The atmosphere was great as well lots of plants and curiosities to look at. The service was fantastic quick and kind. I would highly recommend Wanda's to anyone. We even took a cinnamon roll and hazelnut berry bar for the rise home.

Wanda's is that rare find on the Oregon coast where an unremarkable menu is elevated to near-perfection by flawless execution. Prices are pretty standard, service is caring, the dining room and music selection are comforting, portions are generous enough for sharing, and the food tastes great. You might wish for a more ambitious menu, but you simply won't go wrong choosing this cafe that does what they do so well. I'll readily recommend the meatloaf sandwich, the spinach salad, and can assure you the polenta toast is far better than you expect. And yes, everything coffee is done well here too.

Every time we travel to the Oregon coast, we eat here! The vibes are top notch, the staff is so friendly and helpful! There is sometimes a wait time, we waited almost an hour to be sat on a sat morning and it was so worth it! You can wait outside where there are heaters, or wander inside to grab a coffee and sweet treat to keep you satisfied until you’re sat! (I had a GF lemon bar and brownie paired with a white mocha and I was so happy! I mean they were better than any NON-GF treat I’d had!)
While you wait for your coffee to be hand made, you can wander around the small store corner they have set up. Lots of local handmade goods (I wanted a candle called “Wanda’s” so bad!) or some more commercial stuff. I ended up with a gorgeous pack of playing cards, and an awesome mug.
Once you’re sat, you have a great selection of food to choose from. They serve breakfast and lunch. I ordered the Greek omelette, and it was divine! My husband got the huevos rancheros, which is he really liked! 10/10 love this place. While we sat and ate, we talked and enjoyed the music they played. (This time of year it was jazzy Christmas at a respectable volume).
And a huge bonus, the bathroom was adorable and super clean!

We loved this restaurant! The decorations are pieces of art arranged so artistically to stir conversation and detailed observation. The servers were attentive and helpful. The food was delicious! Try going on the weekend when fresh-baked cinnamon rolls and bread are available. So good....😋

Nice waiting area. High end brunch place. Great aesthetic and music. Grab a pastry/drink and relax while you wait for a table. I love the seating area in the back.
Biscuits & gravy, huevos rancheros, eggs benedict and brunch potatoes are all great.
Also chocolate peanut butter pie and oatmeal raisin cookie are great. (Ask to warm up the cookie)

Stopped by today and this was one of the best breakfast experiences we've had in a long time. The food was great and might be the best cinnamon rolls in a long time. The service was also well above average. I feel like it's hard to get great service outside of a really expensive restaurant, you can find good but it's hard to find service that stands out. It's easy to see why Wanda's is so highly rated.
