We stumbled on this place by accident. What a find! Fantastic food. An amazing buffet of 22 curries, with raw examples of the vegetables they are made from in front of each pot. Not to be missed, we went twice😋 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We were impressed by the owners skills and hospitality. Was surprised how clean the washrooms were. The restaurant area was relaxing. Food was local cuisine, very tasty, and had so much of options to choose from. Buffet was LKR 850 pp when we lunched and they invite you to go for 2nd servings. Excellent homely Sri Lankan lunch. It's supervised by the lovely Owner couple. The Buffet was arranged in clay pots on traditional firewood stoves. Their vegitarian delicacies are also lovely. We had an very satisfying lunch at a very reasonable price.

There is plenty of parking to park even bigger vehicles like buses. Has a very pleasant and clam atmosphere and the staff are very welcoming. The food is amazing. One of the few places that has really good Sri Lankan food. There are 10+ curries including pork. Not too spicy or slaty. Just tastes legit Sri Lankan. Highly recommended for foreigners who want to try Sri Lankan. The complementary dessert is spot on. One of the best Curd you can have around here. Price is very reasonable. It was only 400LKR per head. Toilets are reasonably clean and usable. Not the best, but it is ok. Overall, convenient place, good service, good food, very reasonable price.

Here we have a wide variety of food to choose from. There are local foods for foreigners. Food is kept on the wood stove. A clean place. There is a facility to feed a large number of people at one time. What a place to grab your lunch on the way to Polonnaruwa. Clean and tasty foods, as well friendly staff. Also don’t forget to ask a Pork plate if you are a pork lover.

Ate here 2 days ago. The place is basic but that’s its charm. The food is stunning & displayed in a huge array of earthward pots. Genuine home & local cooking - all the vegetable dishes had a raw vegetable to help explain what was cooked. This was a delicious buffet lunch. There was a wide selection of delicious curries, rice, noodles and roti. Lots of other sides and included dessert. Reasonable price. Highly recommend!
