Nice 8" Indian taco (that was served more like a big puffy tostada!) generous with the ingredients made it a good value for the money. A nice gentleman was running the establishment, clean table and lots of interesting native artwork throughout the restaurant. Never had Native American frybread? You are missing out. Sioux Falls taking care of all the DMV stuff this morning in under 2 hours 😱 and along the way I found this place Watecha Bowl which serves Indian tacos. At first I was confused. Upon further investigation I realized it was frybread tacos. Not only that but a variety of burgers also on frybread “buns”. everything here is closely curated by the owner and he makes sure all the ingredients are local and fresh. He chooses the Bison and Elk and everything else. So here we have Elk burger, frybread curds, Chislic (Bison cuts), and frybread taco. Fresh squeezed lemonade 🍋. 12/10 and thank the powers that I have been reunited with the magical traditional frybread. And if that was not enough they now have FDA approval for their very own frybread mix you can make at home. Tribal drums and singing playing over the speakers. Really great people here. Great food. This was my first time at Watecha Bowl...it was awesome! Ordered the Indian beef tacos...frybread was perfection & toppings were delicious! Can't wait to try the burgers too. I'll definitely be back very soon. Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

I got the vegan taco and the fry bread fingers with wojapi. All Very tasty! The atmosphere is humble, but the food is made with integrity and served with (well deserved) pride. And it's delicious. This was my first introduction to frybread so I was full of questions so I got lessons both in cooking and culture. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. Very glad I came! I thought the burger on Frybread was delicious. One of the best burgers I've had in a long time. I did wish the interior was a bit nicer and that they had drinks, but the food alone is enough for them to keep the 5 star. Food: 5

Absolutely delicious! Went with friends and everything we got was magnificent! The fry bread is the best I've ever had! Highly recommend!

This felt like I was transported to the rez when I walked in. Well before I walked in. Predictably easy to get to, hard to park at. A hole in the wall that is putting out quality fry bread and is the only place for Indian tacos I know of. Why doesn't every city have a local indian taco place Why not have fry bread covered cheese curds?. Small, dirty and exactly what I wanted. Northern Cree on the radio, nice owners, go already. They have vegetarian and vegan options which is an automatic win, plus they understand the difference between vegan and vegetarian. Every time I come here, I get the best fry bread tacos and customer service. They even made sure lil sunka wouldn’t be hungry. I’m greatful that there is a place in town where I can get an excellent taco, they have been my favorite since I was a kid. I can’t wait to buy some Watecha stickers eventually too!
