I would highly recommend Water's Edge Sweet Cakes for your wedding cake needs! We were married last October and we had a four tier wedding cake. Even before meeting her, Kim was very responsive to emails. We were able to choose different flavors for each layer...and basically any flavor combination we could come up with! We opted for Champagne and Strawberries (vanilla cake with fresh strawberries and a champagne buttercream), Chocolate cake with cherry pie filling, and a vanilla cake with apple pie filling and salted caramel buttercream. They were all so delicious. After our tasting, we were able to make adjustments (we thought the salted caramel buttercream was a little on the sweet side) to the final product. Kim delivered our cake to the Starry Night Barn and even placed my florals on the cake for us. Even my wedding planner was impressed as she has had to decorate cakes with florals in the past. The guests loved the cake so much that we barely had any leftovers! Several guests had two slices of cake! They probably would have had three slices if they noticed there were three different flavors! Kim was also able to accomodate a late request for a birthday cake (chocolate with raspberry filling....DROOOOOOL) to serve at our rehearsal dinner as a bridesmaid's and our officiant's birthdays were the same week/day of our wedding. I did make my own cookies for our cookie table/wedding favors, but it was nice to know that if it came down to crunch time, Kim did offer her services to make additional treats as well. I am looking forward to receiving our complimentary top layer cake for our one year anniversary!!!

I would highly recommend getting your wedding cake and or cupcakes from Water’s Edge Sweet Tooth! We ordered a small 6 inch cake for us to cut into and chocolate, vanilla, and maple spice cupcakes for our guests and everyone loved them. Kim was easy to work with, set up a wonderful tasting for us when we were exploring flavors, and even put the flowers and cake topper we set aside on our cake for us when she delivered it all. Update one year later: My husband and I did the traditional thing and saved a slice of our wedding cake to enjoy on our anniversary. I wrapped it in press and seal and aluminum foil and it has been in the freezer for the past year. Wow, the cake was almost as good as it was on our wedding day. The fact that it tasted so good a year later really shows how high quality cakes from Water’s Edge are!

We did a dessert tasting with Kim prior to placing our order and that sealed the deal. I am not a big dessert person, but Kim made me FALL IN LOVE with her delicious treats! From cupcakes, macaroons, parfaits, chocolate covered strawberries, they were all to die for. And apparently my guests felt the same because they were gone before we even made it to the table! So good! Absolutely refer to Kim for your wedding treats!

Water’s Edge Sweet Tooth curated our dream wedding cake. My husband and I are not big cake people so we were reluctant to order one for our wedding. At our cake tasting with Water’s Edge Sweet Tooth, the cake was so delicious, we knew we had to have one for our wedding! We ordered a smaller sized cake to go with our other desserts and the process went so smoothly.

I highly recommend Water's Edge Sweet Tooth. They did the wedding cake for my son's wedding and it turned out perfect and was so moist and tasty. We received many compliments on the cake.

Where do I begin!? Kim at Water's Edge is amazing! My husband and I got married recently on 6/24 and Kim made our birch tree wedding cake along with lemon, shortbread, and chocolate cookies. Everything was AMAZING! The decorations on the cake and the flavors were perfect. All of our guests loved everything on our sweets table. I highly recommend this bakery, as you will not be disappointed! Thank You, Kim!!

If I could leave more than 5 stars I would. Not only was the cake absolutely adorable for our sons first birthday but it was declared the best cake ever by everyone at the party. So moist and the perfect combo of vanilla cake with strawberry filling. We sent a picture of what we had in mind and they recreated it perfectly. Great customer service and GREAT cake.

We ordered an 8” chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream frosting for my husband’s birthday and it was DELICIOUS! We were fighting over who got to take the leftovers. Highly recommend!!

Highly satisfied with the turn out! I requested a replica of the top of our wedding cake for our anniversary. Flavor was cherry almond with Michigan cherries! Turned out fabulous
