Disappointing service and food. Service was incredibly slow and orders came very incorrect. Drinks were wrong and food came as takeaways not dine in, although we were in the restaurant. Additionally the burgers ordered didn't come with fries as noted in the menu. A real shame given the limited options in the area. Limited vege options however the salads were fairly decent. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Had a great night with my gfs here...pity I had to work the next day so went home early! Good place to chill with friends...drank some lovely white wine. Prices were reasonable Bought fries which were perfectly cooked. Rugby was on so lots of cheering by patrons...lovely country pub...recommend to all Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Our bus trip was welcomed wholeheartedly to this pub when 30 of us descended there unexpectedly...the atmosphere was awesome and friendly...the beer was cheap, so we enjoyed several hours here...would definitely recommend the west Melton tavern for an arvo of convivial drinking...

Had fish and chips here a week ago. Definitely the worst fish and chips we have ever had! Been buying F & C here for years but with a change of ownership this has really gone to the dogs! Chips were oily and undercooked. They were well under the 2 scoops we ordered. The fish was more batter than fish. Very disappointing
