Sam, the proprietor of this establishment, knows his wines and beers! With that he has 20 wines in tap, along with taps of beer and cider. And this year he harvested his own chanterelles! Great time with my brother and cousin. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very comfortable, well lit and dignified bar area. Board games and chess etc are all available for you and friends to play. Then I went to the rear..... PINBALL!! Oh boy, I will be back for the amazing service and proper drinks @ a good price... But the PINBALL I will definitely be seeing more of in my life. It's nice to meet you West Valley Tap!

Friendly atmosphere, attention to detail, and good selection make the West Valley Taphouse a great spot to have a beer, wine, kombucha, or non-alcoholic beverage on-tap. Fries were good, though didn’t try any of the other menu items. Recommend for a drink!

Has potential, but could not great. Service was poor... disorganized, spoke to 3 diff staff by the time our order was completely taken. Food did come out in a timely manner... side salad was very good, but the rest was nothing to brag about. Not sure the "hamburgers" were ground beef??? Had an odd texture and sort of a sweet taste to it. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Stopped in because I heard Sam has the best chili in town. Now to be fair, I haven't had anyone else's but it was good enough that I don't feel like trying. My only criticism would be that I wish it came with a piece of bread to soak up some of the deliciousness. I mentioned that to Sam and sadly, the Bread Board out in Falls City just hasn't opened back up yet thanks to Covid. But, what put this over the top was the fact that they have plenty of non-alcoholic options for those like myself that need to get back to work. I grabbed some of the Honeydew Kombucha- first tap house I've visited that has that and it hit the spot and quenched the heat from his spicy chili. Go show Sam at West Valley Taphouse some love and support local business.

My wife's food was ok but my cheese burger was cold and dry the bread was over toasted and beer was not cold at all! We spent $50 on this? It would be nice to get a refund or an apology Price per person $50–100 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The BEST place in Dallas and surrounding areas to have a cold refreshing beer, wine or cider. The owner Sam, the greatest guy to meet and talk beer with!
