Enjoy perfectly cooked patty melt, hamburgers and fish at this fast food when you happen to be near it. According to the reviewers' opinions, tea is good. Visitors don't highly appreciate biscuits at Whataburger. This place is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Laughable. As if there were an easier job on the planet than taking food orders at Whataburger. The complete opposite of what I ordered. Nothing is correct. Could barely hear/understand the dude taking orders. Was the only car in line, took forever, food is cold and soggy. Tastes like a$$ too. To reiterate, this is the easiest job you can get and some people still manage to underwhelm Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Can’t believe I’m saying this about the place I used to work, thought they would be better about this type of stuff after I left. They barely filled my fries at all. Filled to about half the carton, and that was AFTER I pulled the fries from the bottom of the bag, and put them back in the carton. The burger patty was torn in half, and not even sitting on the sandwich properly. Asked for ketchup and mayo, only got ketchup. Smh. Damn Shame. Whataburger on McFarland — It’s 1301 McFarland Blvd. Recommend the one on Skyland for anybody looking for some good whataburger. Door was locked despite serving 24 hours, with the workers shrugged as I tried to access the restaurant. Then, I was served raw chicken through the drive thru. This is hardly the first bad experience I’ve had at the Tuscaloosa Whataburger locations, but when I work night shifts and not much is open for my break, I give Whataburger the benefit of the doubt. I’m from Texas, where Whataburger began, and it’s a shame to see what the once amazing service has turned into. Service Take out Price per person $1–10 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Sorry excuse for a fast food restaurant. I never had Whataburger. We had a hospital stay, so I thought I would give it a shot. In my 32 years of existence have I ever had this much problem ordering a “plain” burger. A worker told me “you must not know what plain means” sure do sir, it’s how I ordered them for 32 years! Didn't give me half of our order because according to the manager "they didn't know they needed to". There was trash all across the floor and it was not very busy. Just from where I was sitting I could see 7 tables with trash under them and in the walkways and we were the only ones sitting in the restaurant. And this is what the lid and napkin dispenser looked like when we walked in and still like that an hour later when we walked out. I guess the wet floor sign was good enough as far as quality control. Labels on the lid dispenser might have helped the people before us to match those lids with the cups they had since it looked like that was a big part of the problem. I'll add that I've always been impressed by the customer service at our local Whataburger. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100

Took over 10 minutes just to place my order. There was only one car in front of me and they were waiting to order as well. Then once I was able to order and it took another 10 minutes to get my food. Couldn't get a shake because their ice cream machine was broken. For a minute I thought I was at McDonald's. Of course no thank you or apologize for my long wait. Once I got back to the hotel my food was COLD and no napkins. Wasn't a good experience! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

How the hell does it take 30 minutes to an hour and a half to make some burgers. Are they high? Are squirrels running the grill?That’s one hell of an incompetent staff to make popeyes seem quick. The food isn’t even terrible (usually), but the hour wait in a drive through is just baffling. Either the workers are hooking up, smoking weed, or asleep most nights. That’s the only way you could possibly explain how incredibly long the wait time consistently is for a place that should be able to make 10 burgers minimum per 6 minutes. The manager working, an older white man, was extremely rude to employees and customers. An African American fellow came in and said he was missing his honey mustard. The manager said "did you pay for them?" We were done after that. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I love spending $30 to get an order only worth $15 at most. I will say that the employees were nice but they are not trained on checking names before giving out food. On top of that the order that they did give me was wrong even according to the receipt on the bag. The fries were unsalted and soggy as well. Please save yourself the headache and go to the whataburger by the movie theater, they actually know how to run a whataburger there and won’t rob you. Your workers are terrible. Service at all levels are lacking common sense, training, and many common decentcies a human should possess. Half the staff smells of burnt Marijuana. The team that gets the food ready are the worst. Past 4 times my family has been to this location, the entire orders were wrong.
