Coffee beans: This place buy their coffee beans from “common room roaster” in Long Beach which is one of my favorite roaster! If you are true snobbish coffee drinker like me then you know what this mean—✌️
They pull espresso from common room’s special blend beans. It is smooth and I was satisfied.
Food: They are speciality coffee shop so the food selection is limited but their bakery is pretty good. Their croissant was flaky but not dry and chewy (but not tough inside)—it was closest to what I had in Paris. Probably the best croissant you can get in coffee shop. Most Americans are used to soggy croissant from commercial coffee shop thinking flakiness is dryness. It’s not— trust me. Oh they had vegan muffins too.
Space: yes seating is limited but it’s clean and tucked in a cute Tustin antique district. Now I have a reason to go back there again.
They have plenty of parking on street and some free parking lot everywhere.

This is a very small shop without much seating. The specialty Valentines Day drink I got came out to 8 dollars with the up charge for plant milk. (This is a normal price for this area, but the drink did not meet my expectations.)
I would have preferred non fat milk, but they only offer whole or plant milk. The Matcha I got was watery, not something I would come back for. Overall, I do not think this place lives up to the reviews. Feels very subpar and the drinks are nothing special.

I have teen daughters, and they brought me to this place for coffee ☕️ and pastry 🎂. In all truthfulness, I appreciate that they support a small biz. And I enjoy people for working towards their dreams! But in all honesty, I can't see how a 4.9 score is even possible 🤔.
1. Small location, the size of a living room, uncomfortable seating in and outside.
2. Coffee ☕️ is subpar, I've tasted better at 7eleven, at donut shops, and from a Krueger machine.
3. The pastry was too flaky, dry, and tasteless
4. It took a while for my order to be ready, and people seemed frustrated with the line building up.
5. It's just a trendy place - no real theme nor mission statement - just overpriced coffee.
6. The machine asks for a tip? Seems too confident for a min 5 dollar tip on a 5 dollar coffee.. yikes.
- hey, hope they make it! But to me, my opinion is that it's just trendy. Even my daughters have lost interest and will move on to another place...
Have to be honest a strong 2 5 to 2.75 score, maybe a 3
