My husband was really excited to see that Burbank had Wood Ranch restaurant. I was underwhelmed with their BBQ. It was really busy, so we sat at the bar. I got the create your own dish. I chose pulled pork and brisket. My side was BBQ baked beans, which turned out to be the only thing I liked. The brisket was dry and the pulled pork es more like pulled fat. Both were bland. I only got a teeny tiny cup of BBQ sauce, which still didn't help the meat much. My husband got steak, he said it was good. Maybe I should've gotten steak? The couple next to us were drunk and rude. The bar tender returned my husband's credit card to them by mistake. I saw his card in the hands of the drunk man and said something to the bar tender. I tried to make a joke and said if their bill was less expensive we'll pay for that one and they can pay for ours. All i got was a hard stare from the drunk couple. We never got the bread rolls that everyone else got, so I asked as we were leaving and the hostess got me some to take home. This was the best part of the time we were there. Great amount of space, love that they have designated parking, and benches to sit at while you wait. The Mac and cheese is al dente which is firm in a good way. Everything was to my liking. Would absolutely return Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food here at Wood Ranch is just delicious. We were seated relatively quick, even on a busy Friday night. Our waiter, David, was a true professional. He anticipated our bread and drink refills without us mentioning it. All the food was delicious and affordable. My only criticism was that there were many small children and families during our visit, one child dropped a glass near our table and next to our table was a crowd of tablet children while their parent sat and drank with her friends. I also arrived with my family, but I have older teens who truly enjoy the dining experience. There are some places that are not designed for families with young children. Instead, order to go and have it at home and please let the rest of us enjoy the restaurant ambiance we pay for.
