Stopped for chilaquiles after a long night at the malecón. We had red and green and both were very good, we were too hungry to get pics lol. Chips, salsa's, guac + more was brought to the table immediately. Agua de pina was good but not too sweet. Big outdoor venue w/soccer on the big screen. Kids play ground is perfect for families to have fun together. Total was 800 pesos for 4 meals & 4 non-alcoholic drinks. They do take cc's. Xochimilco is a fun, open-air restaurant. There is live music and a recreation area for the little ones. The service was excellent. Our waitress kept an eye on us even when she was serving the other side of the restaurant. If you're looking for more of a local Mexican feel, then give Xochimilco a try. The food was fresh. I had the molcajete, which was certainly abundant and beautiful, but really dry and salty. Once my food was delivered the waitstaff lost all interest in me. This was definitely a two-beverage meal, but alas it was not meant to be. There are plenty of delicious and friendly options in town. Don’t bother with this one.

We almost over looked this place. The food was tasty, drinks were plenty. I'd say the only issue is the fact it is cash only. Sadly they could have made more had they used the technology.

LOTS OF FOOD. Their "parillada" are no joke! My 13 year old son & I couldn't make a dent! My wife and daughter sampled too and still took over half the food to go. The Micheladas were perfect. Always looking to try new places. This one was disappointing. Restaurant very slow. The staff was standing around mostly. Took forever just to get our drinks. They were very good once they arrived. Took even longer to get our food. About an hour after order. The manager seemed to be running around and directing but the staff was not listening. Yes several tables got their food and drinks before us when they arrived after us.....blah blah blah. The food was ok. We definitely felt like we were not wanted. Honestly it's the first time I felt that in 40 years of puerto penasco patronage. The atmosphere was great. Outdoor setting in town on a beautiful morning. I will try again in a few months. Judging by the reviews things will be better by then or they'll be gone

Worst place in town so far. Terrible service, we waited for 20 mins before we were approached by a server, and then waited forever for drinks and food. The fish tacos I got were supermarket breaded frozen fish cut into strips. Just the worst. + I edited this review to two stars from one because the atmosphere is nice. Open, airy tall ceiling and cool tiki feel. Just get it together and it will be great.
