This is a Sushi and a Thai restaurant. We love Thai food and we wanted to try this out. Food is great and tasty. Mango sticky rice desert is our favorite here. That said ambience is okay and mainly pricing is a bit higher than the quantity they give when you compare it with other Thai restaurants around. Service was great though it's a bit slower. This place is great! Been here a few times and I’ve enjoyed it every time. I love how they have both Thai and sushi. I tried pineapple fried rice for the first time here and it was absolutely delicious! A must try for sure! You can’t go wrong with Pad Thai. It was yummy and filling. The sushi is good and looks so pretty on the plate. We also ordered the sticky rice mango which was my first time trying that and I loved it! I highly recommend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

THIS PLACE IS A HIDDEN GEM! I can say I've never had better service and larger portions anywhere! The food was fantastic, served so quickly, and they never rushed me even though I got there 30 min before close. Wow 100% spot on perfect for everything! The mussels shooters were amazing, so flavorful, and cold taste all the individual flavors. Wow!! The presentation for everything here ... can't describe how beyond beautiful. I eat with my eyes, so, you know It's good! The spring rolls with shrimp was AWESOME!I have had these from all over the valley, but these are hands down THE BEST. Love the mint and no vermicelli in them. Plenty of fresh, crisp lettuce and tasty sauce. Didn't even need the Sriracha, which is in shortage right now. The green curry was super texturally pleasing, plus the spice level was immaculate at level 3 (I love it hot🔥). I was surprised by how huge the portion of papaya salad was, I didn't have room in my belly for it.🤣 It was never soft or soggy, it was perfect and pretty and even had lettuce! Tried the Laos style, which had more fish sauce. Not bad. I like both styles, but love a good lime sauce. Note, the real star: the Durian sticky rice. I know, Durian isn't for everyone, but this was nice! I like Durian, so it was no surprise, but the soft texture plus the thick sauce on the perfectly cooked sticky rice, and then thin sauce on top was quite awesome. I usually do Mango🥭 sticky rice but I would say the Durian was just as good! 100000 % recommend to anyone, Thai food, or sushi, you can't lose! Service is amazing, the atmosphere is fun and the food is great. I've searched for Thai food as tasty as I had on vacation and found it. 😋 10/10 would recommend, and I'll be back soon. I liked everything we tried. The atmosphere was nice and felt more high scale than other Thai places. Very delicious. The food had a delicious spice and left us very thirsty and our waitress was super busy and didn't fill our waters enough. Everything else was exceptional. I loved the green curry, pineapple curry, and the coconut ice cream with mango sticky rice for dessert. Yum. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Seriously the best Thai food in the valley. They have so many authentic dishes that you won't find at other Thai restaurants in the area and they're all equally fantastic. The sashimi is always fresh and higher quality than most places with the same price, and the sushi rolls are well thought out and always taste amazing. Our server Amp made both of our night. She is so warm and kind and was very personable with us. It was great to have an authentic interaction with a server who seems happy to be there. Overall, Ying's Thai-Sushi is an incredible restaurant and I would recommend anyone looking for local Thai food or sushi to try it out. Best Thai restaurant in Utah. I lived in Thailand for 2 years and my wife is Thai, she agrees! It’s really the only Thai restaurant her and her Thai friends will eat at. The lunch specials are an unbelievably good deal and you get a massive portion. Get the Lard Na (S3) pictured. Put some chili flakes and vinegar on it. You may need to ask for this. The sushi is amazing as well. The fish is excellent quality and the chefs don’t use too much rice. A lot of sushi now in Utah seems low quality and you get way too much rice with the rolls. This restaurant is an amazing find. You won’t be disappointed!

The facade looks very ordinary, but the inside is very spacious and cozy, every decoration is very impressive, the tables and chairs are clean and white tablecloth with an oil lamp on every table. It's very warm romantic dinner for couples. We had fried shrimp balls as starter. We were very impressed on the first bite. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside with just the right amount of spice, and sweet chili sauce for dipping. We ordered beef salad which was served with sticky rice in a little cute bamboo basket as food warmer. The hot & sour seafood soup was alright, wished little more sour with seafood combo. Tokyo roll was delicious and little sweet sauce on top. The coconut ice cream with sticky rice( topped with peanut, coconut jelly, condensed milk... try it yourself) was so good. We ate all what we ordered for our dinner with the spiciness at level 3( 1-5). Food was super tasty, very fresh, delicious and spiced right. Service was great, very attentive servers and they also serve beer and wine in house, will come back to try more sushi rolls on next visit.

Not so flashy from the outside, nothing flashy on the inside either but it is a clean and a well maintained restaurant. But the food, yes, everything we ordered were very delicious and tasted so fresh. Staff were very professional. Definitely a Thai/Japanese place that we would like to be back! We all got Thai since everyone is mentioning the Thai food here in Yelp. The lunch special combo I had is definitely exceptional- I don't usually finish my plate but I did! Love their curry in particular!
