Enjoy perfectly cooked zucchini fritters, tartare and lamb at this bar when you happen to be near it. Spend a nice time here and share tasty ice cream, crème brûlée and biscuits with your friends. Zinnia will offer you good Sangria, beer or wine. It is good to try great latte. The warm atmosphere of this place makes guests feel relaxed and have a nice time. A lot of people mark that the hostess is courteous at this spot. From the guests' point of view, prices are average. Cute decor is appreciated by guests. Stunning atmosphere inside or outside with quality food makes this place a must-try in the area. Inside is a quirky and homey multi-floor space with tall ceilings and huge windows Outside is a large garden area perfect for afternoon tea. Menu is decently sized and all the food was seasonal and fresh! I had the breakfast bowl with chorizo and egg, which was tasty, and my partner had their delicious burger - a total standout. We shared the apple French toast, which was super flavorful and seasonal. Definitely coming back to try more! Update Jan 2024: finally snagged an Afternoon Tea reservation and loved it! For $60 you get your own pot of tea and share a few little sandwiches and pastries. Everything is super flavorful and though I think they could have more sandwiches for the cost, it was all very tasty. We came here for brunch and got seated immediately. The service and Atmosphere is top notch! Our food was good as well - just tiny points of improvement: the patatas bravas were a little greasy for my liking, the hummus sandwich got a little too soft/soggy from the moist salad it was sitting on (maybe serve in a separate bowl and the French toast was a little pricey for what it is in my opinion. The coffee was delicious. Overall we enjoyed our meal though and we’d come again. We had a pretty good experience. The atmosphere is super cute. Old cottage vibes with lots of florals and nature intertwined. The brunch was delicious! I got the eggs Benedict with bacon since they were out of the duck and that was really tasty. My husband got the crab cake which was also very good. Went for a Sunday brunch on a rainy day, so our original reservation for patio seating was changed to the tavern area. They were nice enough to call me a half an hour before to ask whether that would be okay with me, which was awesome. This place was quite spacious inside, they have multiple rooms and seating areas, none of which were ADA-friendly (wheelchairs could maybe sit outdoor with the ramp area into the garden). They have a seasonal menu so items are constantly being changed around. The service was great, everyone was incredibly friendly and helped each other. The food was delicious!! When you first walk in you’ll be greeted by the hostess. There’s a cafe area that sells baked goods and coffee, this place opens before 10AM. Brunch doesn’t begin until 10AM, so there’s a waiting area to the left that looks like grandma’s living room. There were multiple couches and old timey portraits and various awards/accolades the previous owner of the establishment (Mrs. K) accumulated over the 50+ years they were opened. There are a lot of stairs inside this building and various seating areas — downstairs is the tavern/pub and there’s a fancier-looking room with a large window that looks out to the garden. The garden was cute to walk through and there were little white bridges and water features. There’s also a huge parking lot across from the building. Definitely a place worth checking out. Fantastic brunch experience. Our server was great and did check on us at least once at each stage of the meal. Food came out fairly quick and everything was flavorful. I had the breakfast sandwich which was satisfying. The sandwich consisted for scrambled egg, cheese, and bacon on a larger English muffin. I felt happy after finishing. Rest of the food was satisfying. Truffle chocolate cake was solid. The ginger Gelato was good, I'm just not too much a fan of ginger for it to be the primary flavor of a dessert (my fiance ordered it). My only MAJOR complaint is that the restaurant put a mandatory service charge of 20%... on a party of two. That's really not acceptable. I hope that this wasn't done because of how casually I dressed. The owner should discourage this kind of behavior, OR bake in tipping to prices and drop the mandatory tipping fee. My fiancé and I were looking to have a simple lunch and were met with a very displeasing experience. When we walked in around 4 pm we were asked by a waitress if we had a reservation, to which we answered no. She walked to the back to check for a table and in that time another waitress came over and was simply going to seat us, no questions asked. When the waitress returned, she told us there was a table in the main dining room, but that we had to be out within two hours because it was reserved “for an event”. We sit down and are served, but throughout our meal we notice MULTIPLE other groups being sat in the room that supposedly was being used at 6 “for an event”. Our waiter was kind and gave us drinks on the house, however we were clearly being rushed out of the restaurant, as we were being handed the receipt before we were done ordering food and drinks. This seems to be a pattern with certain groups of people while reading through the other reviews and clearly certain people are not very welcomed in this restaurant. Overall, not a great lunch and won’t be returning. ETA: Both the room we were seated in, the other room next to it and even seats outside were ALL empty, both upon arrival and leaving. I drive past this restaurant every day on my way home and finally decided to treat myself. I chose to sit outside in the garden and was lucky enough to get the table right beside the pond. The garden is beautiful and was the perfect setting for dinner on a summer evening. The staff was pleasant and service was relatively fast given that it was a busy evening. The food was delicious!
