This place is very bad. The beef yakisoba consisted of broken noodle pieces, very thin overcooked beef slices and burned onions. The burned onion smell dominated the dish. There was a deep-fried crabstick on one of the sushi pieces. The maki also tasted like something burned. Some of the fish didn't feel safe too eat. We could t finish it. I suspect that some of these reviews are not legit.

Incredible sushi. This is the only place in Gothenburg that I have found that knows how to make sushi properly, and it's amazing - hands down. I tried 4 sushi restaurants and holes in the wall that were supposed to be the "best sushi in Gothenburg" ... all of them were terrible. Then one day I discovered Asian Republic on Uber Eats ... and my life as an expat in Sweden suddenly improved significantly! Beautiful nigiri roles, fantastic maki roles, delicious appetizers, great chili-mayo lol ... and 100% accuracy with my Uber Eats delivery orders as well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed this place stays in business and continues to operate at such a high calibre. Note: I have not dined in the restaurant yet - only experienced their delivery. Honestly, I loved this place.😍 The environment is very pleasant and soothing. You can just relax your mind and body with the entire surrounding and nature inside, makes you feel like home.😊🏡 The food is appetizing and delicious! 😋😍 I tried nearly all their items 🍖🍤 specially the Mixed dumplings, Crispy tempura rolls, Alaska roll and California rollr are awesome! 😍 🍣I am literally well pleased and happy with all their items everytime I eat.😋🌯🍣 The service is superb, they are very humble, generous and well behaved. You can't help yourself being fulfilled and satisfied once you treat yourself having there. 😍😋 I wish their untold and unending SUCCESS! 😊😊❤

Hidden gem sushi in Biskopsgarden Pros: - very nice sushi, - creative : complex texture profile in one plate - good ratio of fish/toppings and rice, - reasonable and worth the price - nice presentation Cons: they are very busy with take out and delivery, so take out and delivery is the best option, in my opinion. Very nice presentation and delicious sushi, and very soft miso soup, as well as fast delivery and friendly service if you order home. If you are tired of the regular cheap sushi in Gothenburg and want some some flavourful nice sushi that is priced well, I definetely suggest this place. Made our evening.

Order 3 different foods. Got the Sushi and 2 Yakiniku. Instead of 1 yakiniku and 1 Teriyaki Lax. Called them to fix the problem but all they did was give excuse one after the other. Lose my appetite didn’t even bother finish it and didn’t even get a bite of the Sushi because of my angryness. Service Delivery Meal type Lunch Price per person kr 400–500

It's a small restaurant with a cozy layout and a diverse menu. Our food was prepared rather quickly but professionally. The order was California rolls and they were delicious.

Good sushi overall. Their Alaska and Tempura rolls are amazing. The staff is quite friendly and offered great service.
